    Sally Beauty Holdings (NYSE: SBH) is the world’s largest wholesale and retail distributor of beauty supplies.  Our world headquarters is conveniently located in Denton Texas, just 5 minutes north of Lake Lewisville off of I35E. We currently have an opening for a L&D Program Manager. 
    our Leaning & Development Program Manager is responsible for assessing and identifying company-wide developmental needs to drive business performance.   This role will undertake the training needs analysis, partner with the business to design impactful learning solutions that can be effectively implemented and progress tracked.

    Responsibilities (Text Only)

    - Partners closely with the business and the overall L&D team, to understand the strategic plans.
    - Designs comprehensive development programs across a wide spectrum: ranging from leadership, personal effectiveness, on-boarding, product knowledge, customer service skills and technology that will deliver effective learning solutions suitable with the end user in mind.
    - Designs programs using creative and engaging approaches, coupled with optimizing the e: learning, LMS solutions and enlisting outside partners, within set budget parameters, to drive the program.
    - Developing materials that are compatible with internal branding.
    - Leads the project plans and develops effective communication plans to support the roll out of new L&D initiatives and programs
    - Working with the business to use appropriate and timely communication channels
    - Leads the training events and/ or trains the trainers to cascade the learning in a consistent and effective way

    - Co-ordinates the on-going administration of allocated programs to ensure quality, consistency and continuity. Seeking opportunities to make improvements.
    - Seeks, monitors and evaluates training programs for how up to date the content is, instructional effectiveness and continuing value. Determines needs for revision
    - Keeps up with developments in areas of expertise through self-directed study.

    Qualifications (Text Only)

    - 4 year degree in Learning & Development, Business or related field
    - 5+ years of experience in development, production and/or delivery of training, preferably in a corporate environment
    - Knowledge of principles and methods for design of training programs and curricula, instruction of individuals and groups, media-based learning and measurement of training effectiveness
    - The ability to communicate and interact with upper management
    - The ability to exercise a wide degree of initiative, creativity and latitude
    - A flexible and pragmatic approach to getting things done
    - Commitment to follow-through
    - The desire to work in team-oriented work environment
