Sally Beauty Holdings (NYSE: SBH) is the world’s largest wholesale and retail distributor of beauty supplies. Our world headquarters is conveniently located in Denton Texas, just 5 minutes north of Lake Lewisville off of I35E.
The Sr. Merchandiser – Sallybeauty.com will be responsible for understanding and analyzing the key drivers of performance related to Sallybeauty.com merchandising. The individual will own the relationship with Online Merchants across multiple departments and will drive assortment, promotion, pricing, and profitability analytics efforts with the goal of identifying, recommending, and executing strategies to achieve business objectives and maximize sales and profitability.
Responsibilities (Text Only)
- Drive content and promotional strategy planning efforts with Online Merchants including coordination of necessary data from both store and online, YoY channel performance, and site experience to drive actionable insights. Deliver execution plans for merchants and UI/UX partners.
Manage KPI reporting efforts to ensure accurate data collection while highlighting key insights to drive executive decision making (e.g develop real time strategy updates to ensure demand achievements, share key digital performers with Merchant partners for inventory awareness)
Develop strategy and lead the execution of new site initiatives related to merchandising (e.g., new product launches, promotion features, new merchandising tools, key seasonal features) and the implementation of content experiences.
Partner with cross-functional counterparts (e.g. Supply Chain, Finance, Category Experience, Marketing, etc.) to ensure development of well-thought out, sustainable, and effective strategies/ solutions
Qualifications (Text Only)
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent work experience in retail, merchandising, or a consulting/ project management role in a corporate environment
- Prior experience in merchandising, financial planning and analysis
- Demonstrated ability with business modeling capabilities using tools such as SQL, Excel, Access, and Tableau and advanced proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs
